Bastille Day
July 14th, 2025
On July 14th, the town celebrates its national holiday in style! A parade during the day and, at 11pm, a spectacular fireworks display lights up the sky over the bay, fired from the sea by the famous fireworks expert Jacques Couturier.
A magical moment to be admired from the Remblai, Grande Plage or La Chaume.
Festival Le Souffleur
July 16 to August 8, 2025
A true highlight of the summer, this open-air festival blends theatre, comedy, and music in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Every evening, the stage at Parc de la Jarrie comes to life with comedies, stand-up shows, amateur or professional plays, and even performances for young audiences.
La Grande Bordée (Maritime festival)
August 14 to 17, 2025
A major public celebration dedicated to maritime heritage in the La Chaume district. For four days, the docks come alive with traditional sailing ships, sea shanties, costumed parades, local gastronomy, and concerts.
Highlights: the August 15 procession, festive evenings on the 15th and 16th, and a final fireworks show on the 17th.
